Swedish massage

$110.00 90 minute massage

$140.00   120 minute massage

Swedish massage therapy is the modality that comes to mind when most people think of massage. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage techniques is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.

In all Swedish massage, the therapist lubricates the skin with massage oil and perfumes various massage movements including long, gliding strokes; kneading of individual’s muscles; friction tension and gradually break up muscle "knots" or adhered tissues, called adhesions. Swedish massage promotes relaxation, among other health benefits.

Relaxation Massage

$75.00 60 minute massage

$105.00 90 minute massage

$135.00 120 minute massage

Relaxation massage is essentially the same as a gentle Swedish massage that uses smooth, gliding strokes.

The primary purpose is to help you relax and there is

less emphasis on working out serious knots in the muscle tissue. Sometimes people even fall asleep during a relaxation massage.

There are still substantial health benefits to a relaxation massage, including calming the nervous system, promoting a sense of well-being, improving blood circulation and stimulating the body's lymphatic system, which carries away waste products to detoxify, relieve pain, relax, stimulate, and tone the body.

Meridian Massage

$105.00 60 minute massage

$145.00   90 minute massage

$185.00     120 minute massage

Meridians are channels within the body that supply energy or chi to the organs and systems. When the vital energy flows freely through the meridians, the body is balanced and healthy, but if the energy becomes blocked, stagnated or weakened an imbalance can occur that results in physical, mental or emotional ill-health.

During a meridian massage each meridian is traced in its normal flow of direction from start point to end point. By taking the direction of massage along the energy channels of the body, the concept behind this movement is to allow the release of stagnant energy; this promotes an increase in chi through the meridians to re-energize the body, improve muscle strength, strengthen the immune system, reduce stress, improve the function of related organs and systems and greatly improve the whole body/sprit connection.

Hot Pad Massage

$85.00       60 minute massage

$125.00       90 minute massage

$155.00 120 minute massage

Hot pad massage is a variation on classic massage therapy and dates back to accident times.  The hot pads are natural Himalavan pink salt and natural grain.  They heat better and longer.  The hoy pads are placed on key points on the body that are thought to be energy centers or are held by the therapist and used to massage areas of the body.  The heat warms and relaxes the muscles, which allows the therapist to apply deeper pressure, if desired.  The warmth of the hot pads also improves circulation and calms the nervous system.

Lymphatic massage

$165.00       120 minute massage

Lymphatic massage: Is a gentle yet potent healing modality that brings health and balance to the body.  This therapy is a light rhythmic touch that improves circulation and accelerates the lymphatic flow through tissues to heal injuries and surgery sites.  This slow, rhythmical, soft touch is painless and relaxing. It has a calming effect on the nervous system thereby reducing pain and stress.

Who Should Get It?

Lymph massage can benefit just about everyone.  If you're feeling tired and low on energy, or if you've been sick and feeling like your body is fighting to get back on track, lymph massage would likely serve you well.

In addition, athletes, surgical patients, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue sufferers, as well as those wanting a fresh look may want to consider lymphatic massage.  Also, anyone on a diet might want to add a few lymphatic sessions to enhance their results.  Aside from helping to facilitate weight loss, lymphatic massage is thought to improve the functionality of the immune system as a whole, keeping you healthy and able to continue performing your regular exercise routine without the delays or setbacks that would be associated with periods of illness.

This therapy is recommended because patients who receive lymphatic massage heal quicker. Surgery always produces swelling around the surgical areas.  Lymphatic therapy increases the flow to the lymph already circulating throughout the body to clear away the additional fluids. In general the lymph system clears toxins from the cells, excess water and proteins.  The gentle, rhythmic motion acts like a pump to make the lymph flow faster and more efficiently.

Bruising that can last several days has been seen to decrease to only a few days.  Eyes and face have a reduction in redness and puffiness and therapy brings the tissues back to normal sooner.  Liposculpture benefits from lymphatic therapy by reducing swelling and bruising thereby returning the skin to its normal elasticity.

It is often surprising to discover how draining surgery is for the body.  Lymphatic therapy returns the body to a feeling of strength and stamina and an ability to resume the normal activities of everyday life.

Three to twelve sessions are recommended to achieve a good result.  The number of treatments is based on the type of surgery, age of patient, and the individual response to surgery.

Lymphatic massage is also a relaxing treatment that greatly benefits cosmetic plastic surgery patients.  This skin rejuvenation technique, safely and effectively accelerates the healing process.
